HARDWARE:

Hardware: Installs: I would replace a component like a CDROM with a newer one, This would go for any other component on your desktop computer-- even down to the motherboard, and other card replacement.
Note: Items like the motherboards will take longer to replace.
Hardware: Upgrades-- Usually refers to replacing a device that is either old, has failed, or is not"up to standard anymore, and believe me, that does happen. What you thought was "the standard" has become "old hat" after 6 months.
Configuration, hardware-- After the said device (like that cdROM) is installed, will need to test to make sure it works with your system. In some cases, that might mean an installation of software from a disk supplied by the mfg of the device that was installed. Or it could be something that is figured just by turning your computer on. "I see something new the computer says". Realistically, expect complications, which will involve some sort of configuration or troubleshooting by me in order for you to be happy with the new setup.

SOFTWARE:

Installation /Updates any PC-based program. Will set it up the right way based on what you are planning to do with the software in question, along with any updates. Can customize each program for what your needs are.
System Maintenance -- Computer problems? Running Slow? Does your system need an overhaul? These and other maintenance requests about your computer can be answered on my handy form
Custom Builds using Microsoft Access and/or Excel I have about 10 years experience with both of these programs, writing custom applications for each, utilizing most aspects of each.
